Oxidative Stress and Aging

Oxidative Stress is a major cause of skin aging. It is the result of buildup of destructive free radicals in the skin. PREVAGE® MD reverses and protects from daily environmental stressors that cause buildup of free radicals such as: UV exposure, air pollution, ozone, cigarette smoke, and even oxygen.

The body produces antioxidants to keep free radicals in check, but cannot produce enough antioxidants for the level of oxidative stress in which we live in today. Without help, the effect is accelerated aging of skin. This causes unwanted wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and loss of skin elasticity.
